How do I get started?

Getting started might be the most daunting task. Here is a quick guide on how to get started. And of course depending on your project you might not need to complete all of the below steps. Contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
1. Domain Registration. If ordering a website design or wordpress.org blog design you will first need to register your domain. I suggest registering with GoDaddy or Network Solutions

2. Hosting Account Setup. You will need a hosting account for website design as well as wordpress.org blog design. For website design please scroll down to view my approved web hosts. For a self hosted wordpress blog your best bet is going with a hosting company that offers a simple one-click installation of wordpress. A few suggestions: GoDaddy, Just Host and Blue Host

3. Blogger and Typepad Account Setup. If you decide to not go with a self hosted blog the other two blog platform options are blogger.com (free) and typepad.com (you will need typepad pro).

4. Ordering. Once you order your design package and payment has cleared I will send your login details for the client area. This is where we will do all communication including proofing of the mockups, revisions, etc. When you first login your design brief will be available for you to fill out.

What is your turnaround time?

Please note the turnarounds are just estimates. Timing will depend on your communication, my workload and number of revisions.

Premade Graphics – Up to 2 business days
Custom Graphics – Up to 4 business days for the first draft
Web Design Mockup – Up to 14 business days for first draft
Website Installation – 7 – 14 business days from the time the design is approved by you
Blog Design – Up to 10 business days for first draft
Blog Installation – 3 – 5 business days from the time the design is approved by you
Logo Design – Up to 5 business days for the first draft
Revisions – 1 to 4 business days after notification that revision is required (depends on how major or minor the revisions)
Emailing of final designs – within 1 business day (once all designs in package are approved)

Business days do not include the weekend or holidays.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I only accept paypal for payments. With Paypal you can pay with credit/debit card, echeck, or paypal account balance.
Payment must be received in order for the design process to begin. E-checks must be cleared as well.

What formats will I receive the designs?

Most designs will be emailed to you in high resolution jpg format, unless otherwise noted or requested.

What is you refund policy?

Due to nature of the graphic design process and the time involved refunds are not given for any reason.
If you are not satisfied with your designs for any reason please contact me asap. I will do my best to resolve any issue.
Please note that I do offer unlimited revisions.

Will you send my designs in layered psd format?

No I will not. I do not allow my designs to be copied or altered
in any way. If you need further customizations to your
completed designs, please contact me for a quote.

Are color changes allowed on premade graphics?

Yes, but there will be an additional fee for this service. Fonts and text changes are allowed
at no additional cost.

Do you offer unlimited revisions?

Yes. At this time I offer unlimited revisions. This
may change in the future.

Do you send more than one design idea to choose from?

No. To keep me prices low and reasonable, I will only
send one design idea with each package. Exception is
the LOGO DESIGN package which includes 3 concepts to choose from.
If you would like me to present more than one concept at a time please contact me
for a quote.

Do I need to provide a logo with packages that do not include custom logo design?

No you do not. You will still receive a professional chic design even though you have not purchased or already have a logo design. Some indie businesses do not have budget for or are not yet ready to brand their business.

I already have a logo. Can you use it in the design?

Yes I can. I would be more than happy to incorporate your logo in the design.

Can I send you graphics to include in my design?

Yes you can. As long as the images are public domain, you own the copyright or have permission from the designer I can use the provided graphics in the design.

Can I alter the designs to make other items with my own graphics software?

No you can not. With the acception of logo design, all customs graphics include a limited usage license, which means the designs are to only be used for the intended purpose. The designs I create for you are not to be altered or copied in any way.

With logo design you will own the full copyright of the approved concept. I will only use the logo for portfolio purposes.

Who are your approved hosting companies?

In the near future I will only offer custom wordpress.org design as a website solution.  For now my approved hosts are as follows:

Do you offer phone support?

At this time, I do not offer phone support. I have found that it is more efficient for me to keep all correspondence via email. It also helps to everything in writing and recorded.

Where should I print my items and what sizes do you create them?

On the design brief I send you about your info and preferences, I will ask where you will be printing your items. I will create the designs in the specs of your chosen printer.
If you do not specify a printer I will follow the specs of VistaPrint, Print Place or Moo.

Do you put your credit/link on my website or blog?

Yes. All websites and blogs will have a design credit linking to my site. This must not be removed unless you pay a license fee. Please contact for more info on removal of the credit.

CAN I COPY THE GRAPHICS AND CONTENT SEEN ON YOUR SITE AND USE IT AS MY OWN?

No you can not. Please do not plagiarize, imitate or copy my titles, descriptions, policies, packages, graphics, etc.
