Revisions:

I offer unlimted revisions. Within reason.
Once the project has been approved and finalized the order is complete. No changes may be made after this time without incurring an additional fee.

Project Quotes:

Project estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of estimate. Project may be reestimated if, upon receipt of all project elements, Studio Chic Design determines the scope of the project has been altered dramatically from the originally agreed upon concept.

Payment Schedule:

With the exception of website design, all projects require full payment before the design process begins.

For website design projects, deposit in an amount equal to 50% of the total estimated cost is requested prior to execution of the design process. The additional 50% payment is due in full before installation of the approved site mockup begins.

Completion Date:

Studio Chic Design and the client agree to work together to complete any projects in a timely manner. Studio Chic Design agrees to work expeditiously to complete the project.

Reproduction of Work:

All reproduction rights on the copyrighted work are retained by the designer, with the exception of logo design. The work may not be reproduced in any form without consent from the designer.

Graphics may not be altered or modified in any way.
Designs are to be used for its intended purpose only.
Designs created by Studio Chic Design and presented to the client are not to be sold or redistributed

Logo design copyright will be transferred to client. Studio Chic Design will only use the logo for portfolio purposes.

Copyrights and Trademarks:

The client guarantees that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork furnished to studio Chic Design for inclusion in websites, blogs and graphics are owned by the client, or that the client has permission from the rightful owner to use each of these elements, and will hold harmless, protect, and defend Studio Chic Design from any claim or suit arising from the use of such elements furnished by the client.

Studio Chic Design will not use any graphics provided by the client for use in other projects.

Rejection/Cancellation of Project:

The client shall not unreasonably withhold acceptance of, or payment for, the project. If, prior to completion of the project, the client observes any nonconformance with the design plan Studio Chic Design must be promptly notified, allowing for necessary corrections. Rejection of the completed project or cancellation during its execution will result in forfeiture of any payments. All elements of the project must then be returned to Studio Chic Design. Any usage by the client of those design elements will result in appropriate legal action. Sorry, that sounds really harsh but I have to state it!

Waiting List:

If Studio Chic Design has a waiting list in effect, a non-refundable 25% deposit is required to hold the client’s spot on the list. This deposit will be used towards the project fee.

Web Hosting and Domain Registration:

The client is responsible for purchasing the hosting account and registering their domain with one of my approved hosts. Questions reqarding domain or hosting support are to be directed the domain registrar and/or hosting company.

Credit:

Studio Chic Design retains all rights to display artwork in portfolios and advertising materials.

All websites and blogs require a text link back to Studio Chic Design. The client agrees to keep this credit in tact for the life of the design. Removal of this link is in violation of the terms.

Refunds:

Due to nature of the graphic design process and the time involved refunds are not given for any reason.

Studio Chic Design reserves the right to refuse service to any company or individual at our discretion.
